This CGI Ads Project for Douglas was one of the most fun projects I had, I was involved in the conceptions with the team, and I was involved in the technical side of the concept they were making, such as if it's possible to do, and how fast I can do this project, creating CGI Ads mockup for the clients, and also 3D modeling all the objects we needed for the CGI part, and finding the solution and workflow for the production and for the CGI Part itself.
this particular project, we need a tripod and steady shot for the footage, to track the moving train and the environment with Fspy, because tracking moving object with AE to Blend would be risky.
The idea itself is that at the end we can add a camera shake in After Effects.
Since I was also having multiple 3D Tasks for other clients, the company decided to give the finalization of the project to another Creative Technologist. But here is the part of the projects I did.
Creating 3d Assets
Creating the 3D assets is a fun part of this since I love to do some modeling and also shadering, I also used Adobe Illustrator to actually cut out the labels. I had a ton of fun doing it, of course with the help of the conceptions team, and project manager, they made it possible by providing me with the real stuff for me to see and check to make it as realistic as possible.
Creating Mockup
Creating a mockup for the clients to see how it looks like for the final result, this one is just rendering the 3D objects on top of a provided photo of the environment, I did this pretty quickly since I had other projects on my hand, but it was fun. I Use Fspy, and Blender for the proper scale and perspective for the project, and finalizing it with photoshop for the color grading.
final Mockup
These are the results of the mockup that I did for the clients, this is the end of the task I did in this project, the provided video was not made by me, I helped this project with conception, planning the workflow, double checking technical possibility, directing the videographer, and creating the mockup.
