Cosmicomix. Die Herkunft der Vögel
The goal of this project was to create a comic book based on a story by Italo Calvino The Origin of the Birds from Cosmicomics. Italo Calvino is a great storyteller, he let the reader use their own imagination in a really unique way. and in this project, I use my own imagination and my own way of illustration to express his story.
The process of making the comic book
The process of making this book is consuming a lot of time, from text analysis, creating mood boards, learning the history of comic books, and also learning the skills of how comic books work. From there I proceed to the next step by making some sketches of the storyboards and also some illustrations in Adobe illustrator to find the right color and mood for the whole comic book.
